Our Pipeline Contractor Services Include Pipebursting

Pipebursting is a trenchless method of replacing existing underground pipelines, such as the water, sewer, or natural gas pipes. This method can be used when the original pipeline burst while new pipe is being simultaneously pulled into place. We use the Grundocrack System, manufactured by T.T. Technologies, Inc. During construction, a sewer bypass system process involves:

  • Setting it up by plugging the line at an existing upstream manhole
  • Diverting the flow to a down stream manhole of adjacent sanitary sewer
  • Determining the pump(s) and bypass piping are of adequate size and capacity to handle flows
  • Cleaning the sewer main
  • Inspecting it via video for the purpose of locating active service lines
