Our Pipeline Contractor Services Include Cured In Place Pipe Lining (CIPP) Trenchless Repair
Utilizes existing pipe as a form to make a tight fitting lining that:
- Prevents and stops deterioration of the host pipe
- Can carry all applied groundwater, soil and surface loads
- Is equivalent to a new pipeline
- Is an engineered product with a 50 year minimum life expectancy
Water inversion is the most commonly used installation method for CIPP.
- Diameter: 6” to 108”
- Length: up to 3,000’
- Thickness: 4.5mm and up
Water inversion uses hydrostatic pressure to invert the liner through the host pipe. Once the liner is fully inverted, the water is circulated through a boiler and heated to 180F which cures the resin resulting in a pipe within a pipe.
CIPP is ideal for many applications, including sewers that have fats, oils and grease running through. Once completed, we confirm the success of the process through CCTV (closed-circuit television) inspection. This trenchless process is more cost-effective and less disruptive than the traditional dig method that involves a complete removal and replacement of the pipe.
